Mardan Kazımov

Mardan Kazımov is an Azerbaijani singer and guitarist known for mixing rock music with traditional and classical styles. Born on July 3, 1994, in Nakhchivan, he started music early by learning the violin at the Vagif Mustafazade Music School. He has been singing and playing guitar since 2010 and is currently studying jazz and popular music at Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts.

From 2017 to 2021, he performed professionally in Türkiye and gained popularity as a contestant on The Voice Türkiye. Earlier in his career, he also took part in Azerbaijan’s selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. In 2022, he started his own band where he sings and plays bass guitar, creating a sound that blends classic rock with local ethnic music.

He has already released more than 20 music projects, including several EPs. Mardan is well known for his live shows, having performed at the Baku Formula 1 races in 2023 and 2024. He also performed the official goal song for the Qarabağ FK football club in 2024. He is best known for his high energy on stage and his talent for bringing a modern rock feel to national music.
