Ana Chubinidze is a Tbilisi based illustrator and stop motion filmmaker with over a decade of experience creating award winning children’s films and commercials. Known for her distinctive visual style and analogue technique, she brings stories to life with a handcrafted approach.
Her short films Franzy’s Soup Kitchen (2021) and The Pocket Man (2016) have been selected by more than 250 festivals and have received over 50 awards, including recognition from the New York International Children’s Film Festival, London International Animation Festival, and Hiroshima International Animation Festival.
Alongside her film work, Ana works across advertising, books, and workshops, and leads Pocket Studio, the first stop motion animation studio in Tbilisi, focused on developing the local animation community.
