Ana Chubinidze is a Tbilisi-based illustrator and stop-motion filmmaker with over a decade of experience creating award-winning children’s films and commercials. Known for her distinctive vision and mastery of her analogue technique, she brings heartfelt stories to life with originality and handcrafted charm. Her animated short films Franzy’s Soup-Kitchen (2021), and The Pocket Man (2016), have been selected by more than 250 festivals and have won more than 50 awards from festivals such as the New York International Children’s Film Festival, London International Animation Film Festival, Hiroshima International Animation Film Festival, etc. Happily busy with films, ads, books and workshops, Ana leads the first stop-motion animation studio - Pocket Studio in Tbilisi, Georgia to support and grow the local animation community. |
