Baku Flames 2026 Introduces "One Entry, Two Chances": Local Creativity Set to Compete on Global Stage
The Baku Flames International Festival of Creativity and Effectiveness has announced a major update for its 2026 edition, set to take place on May 15-16. In a move designed to elevate the country’s creative industry, the festival is introducing a new submission structure that allows Azerbaijani participants to compete in both Local and International categories with a single entry.
Building on the success of previous years, where the festival sparked the city with inspiration and awards, this year's edition focuses on maximizing visibility for local talent. Under the new "One Entry, Two Chances" initiative, local agencies, freelancers, and brands will pay a single entry fee and submit their work only once. This single submission will automatically qualify their projects for judging in both the Local and International competitions.
This structural change ensures that Azerbaijani creativity is showcased not only to local peers but also to an elite international jury of top creative leaders and industry legends. By removing financial and logistical barriers, the festival aims to double the recognition opportunities for local entrants, allowing them to represent Azerbaijan simultaneously on domestic and global stages.
The second edition of the festival will return on May 15-16, 2026, bringing together the region's top minds for two days of inspiring talks, networking, and the highly anticipated awards show.
