Vassilis Panagiotopoulos has spent over 20 years where creativity meets leadership—building a career that started hands-on in art direction and evolved all the way to the CEO seat. His path from Art Director to CEO reflects a rare mix of creative instinct, strategic thinking, and business leadership, proving that great ideas and strong management don’t just coexist—they thrive together.

With a background in marketing management and advertising design, Vassilis launched his international career in San Francisco and London, before returning to Greece and later expanding across Southeast Europe and the Caucasus. Along the way, he’s held senior creative and leadership roles at some of the world’s most respected agency networks, including Young & Rubicam, Saatchi & Saatchi, Publicis Groupe, JWT, and DDB, working across markets from the USA and UK to Greece, the Balkans, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Uzbekistan.

Since 2014, Vassilis has been CEO & Head Creative Director of DDB Azerbaijan, and since 2023 has also overseen the agency’s operations in Georgia and Uzbekistan. Beyond delivering award-worthy creative, his focus has been on growing businesses, building strong teams, expanding markets, and driving strategic change—all while navigating complex, multicultural environments with clarity and high creative standards.
